I first started out as an indie author back in 2015 and the guardians series was my first major project. I learned a lot from writing that story. It became a much bigger universe than I could imagine with so many brilliant and well loved characters and complex story threads. Although the first book was published nearly a decade ago, it has aged extremely well and is now connected to other fictional universes of mine.

Inevitably with such a long running and complex universe like the Guardians I needed to take a break from it to figure out what I really wanted from it, and which direction I was going to continue the story in. 

I’m really excited to be able to not only complete this series this year but also to have new covers and an exciting new look for it. 

I’ve also taken the time to sing clean my back list somewhat before I forge ahead with new novels. The Clockwork House, which was a particular favourite of mine and to date my only standalone novel, is on the list to be re-edited and given a new cover sometime this year. The Carter trilogy as you’ll be ale to see has now been released.

So 2025 is going to be jam packed with so much great stuff. I’m looking forward to finally being able to wrap up the guardians, and there will be a few surprises along the way!

Several of my guardian characters, such as Olivia, Elias and several of the characters from series 2, book 3, Necropolis have shown up in other stories and series I’ve written under my other pen name Vawn Cassidy.
