For over 25 exciting years, Wen Saunders continues to photograph weddings, families, and events journalistically.  With a BFA, Communication Arts & Design
degree  from prestigious Virginia
Commonwealth University, she adds an artistic twist to the journalistic coverage. 

She is known nationally for cutting edge concepts such as 
the wedding ArtBox of images (individual images mounted on  mats displayed in a leather box). She is also credited with bringing back black and white images 
into the wedding coverage.  
Wen is a true leader in wedding photojournalism and continues  
to set creative standards for photographers throughout this area and the nation.

Black and white images are created from the best black and white films and printed by Wen Saunders on archival fiber papers presenting clients with museum quality photographs.  Creative custom darkroom printing techniques bring emotion to the photograph.  Today, custom b/w darkroom printing is becoming a lost art.   She is proud to carry on this creative process of traditional photographic image making.

All color photographs  are presented in a book (4x5 size) and are included in the pricing  structures.  Why document the event with 500+ images and have the client only walk away with just a few.  Our clients keep all of them!
